Adi-Mehameday is one of the Kebele's of the Asgede Tsimbela woreda in the Semien Mi'irabawi zone of Tigray Region. Adi Mehameday is located about 373 km North West of Mekelle, Tigray national state, Northern Ethiopia, bordered along the south by the Tekezé River which separates the tabiya on the south from Tselemti and also to the west by the Tekezé River then on the northwest by Dedebit, on the north by Tabiya Selam or Deguadugugni, and on the east by May Tel River. The administrative center of this tabiya is Adi Mehameday; other small village towns in Adi Mehameday include Adi Hilina, Sifra Mariyam, May Tselwadu. == Climate == Adi Mehameday is characterized as semiarid to arid climatic regions. The average annual temperature for the region in generally varies from 24 - 29 °C. Records obtained show temperature maxima of between 37 and 40 °C and minima of 15 to 19 °C. November and December are the coldest months. There are two rainy periods: June – September with highest seasonal rain fall being 500mm and the lowest seasonal rain fall in autumn middle February to April is about 25mm.
